Dr. Rafia Piracha

Dr. Piracha graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1999. Since then, she has worked in busy practices in Oakville and Hamilton. Prior to joining Dr. Andary at his Maplegrove practice in 2010, Dr. Piracha was practicing dentistry at Hopedale Dental Care in the Hopedale Mall, Oakville.

Dr. Piracha is a member of several important associations, including:

The Royal College of Dental Surgeons
The Canadian Dental Association
The Ontario Dental Association

Dr. Piracha is committed to lifelong learning. She routinely furthers her professional expertise through specialized courses. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics (certified Invisalign provider), endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (extractions), crowns, bridges and implants. Dr. Piracha is pleased to offer immediate implant placement (same day as tooth extraction) and gum grafting using Alloderm (eliminates the need to harvest tissue from the palate) to our patients.

As a mother of three young children herself, Dr. Piracha understands the challenges parents face. She has a particular interest in establishing a comfortable dental home for children and has extensive experience treating children with great success. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Lindsay – Office Manager

Lindsay has been immersed in the dental community since she was a teenager. Spending many hours in treatment, she became dedicated to helping people in this field. Completing her High School co-op as a dental receptionist, and then Graduating in 2002 from CDI College, Lindsay became extremely passionate about esthetics. She met Dr.Piracha in the early days of her career as a compassionate chairside assistant. Educating herself along the way, Lindsay worked hard to achieve the management role that she currently holds today at Dental Works.

In her spare time, our practice manager spends time with her rescue pitbull, loving husband and two children. She enjoys the outdoors, travelling, and shoe shopping.

Christina - Level II Dental Assistant

Christina is our Level II dental assistant that graduated from George Brown College in 2011. Christina is fun loving, hard working, and extremely passionate about her career. She takes a lot of pride in ensuring patients feel calm and comfortable during their dental appointments.

Christina enjoys spending her spare time with her friends, family and her cat Felix. Some of her hobbies are travelling, fishing, cooking or playing her tenor saxophone.

Yolanda - Level 1 Dental Assistant

Yolanda, a Level 1 Dental Assistant, extends her proficiency and care to every patient. A graduate of the National Academy of Health and Business, Yolanda brings 18 years of dedicated service to the table.

Yolanda’s commitment is ensuring each patient’s dental journey is not just comfortable but exemplary. With a focus on cultivating beautiful, healthy smiles, she prioritizes her patients’ well-being throughout their time under her care.

Outside the office, Yolanda finds joy in music, culinary arts, and cherished moments with her beloved daughter and husband.

Chandni - Registered Dental Hygienist

Chandni holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, followed by advanced studies in Dental Hygiene at Durham College in Oshawa. With a passion for preventive dentistry, she actively engages in ongoing education to remain current with the latest advancements in treatment options. Chandni’s friendly and positive demeanour fosters a welcoming environment for clients, ensuring their comfort throughout appointments.

Outside her professional endeavours, Chandni enjoys journaling, reading and exploring diverse culinary experiences.

Ali - Front Desk Administrator

Ali, our front desk administrator, has a natural disposition for making patients feel welcomed and cared for. Her dedication is evident in every aspect of her work. She has been in the dental industry since 2018 and started as a dental assistant, which has given her valuable hands-on experience that enhances her administrative skills and understanding of patient care. In her free time, Ali enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and friends, and playing chess.

Andrea - Registered Dental Hygienist

Andrea is a 2004 graduate of the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene in Hamilton ON. Since 2006, she has been providing hygiene care in the Oakville area. Andrea’s calm and friendly demeanor, attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the profession make her a valuable team member. She was born and raised in Burlington ON, and currently lives there with her husband and two children. When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family, sewing, playing hockey and baking!

Tianna - Registered Dental Hygienist

Hey, my name is Tianna! I am a graduate from the Dental Hygiene Program at Durham College. Since I was young, I have always enjoyed dental visits and getting my teeth cleaned. I always knew that I wanted to work in the dental field! I strive to provide the best care possible and I make it a priority to make sure that you feel comfortable and safe while under my care. I am very passionate about Dentistry as whole and I am constantly learning new skills to keep up with the changes that occur in the dental industry.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking, spending time with friends and family as well as playing board games. I also enjoy playing my drums and electric guitar!
